Wow. I read that headline wrong as "scouts". I guess I have been wondering what the BSA had to say about this matter.by BernDog - Tips and Deals

Check out The Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic channel. Ceasar's great. After you watch a few episodes, you'll see the advice he gives starts to come from only two or three strains. Doesn't hurt to hear the same message multiple times though...constant reinforcement works on us bipeds too. Good to see what kind of mistakes most dog owners make and how we can all improve.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Beer of the month subscription? Won't last forever, but who wouldn't like a yeers worth of beers? Was going to do this for mine, but had to be a little more price concious. Ended up settling on a Leatherman Micra. Seven years later, most of my groomsmen still have them on their keyrings and use them regularly (I use mine daily...literally). If they don't, it's because they already wore theby BernDog - Tips and Deals
Hey, thanks for the links, BGnR. I was having a discussion about this with some rural family members over Easter. They thought it was something coming down the pipeline pretty soon, but I warned them about the interference issues. It had been a while since I'd read about it though, and couldn't be very specific.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
If it makes you feel any better, magazines make most of their money from advertising. In fact, many times they're more than happy to give away subscriptions just to increase their reader numbers. I have subscribed to This Old House magazine for several years now. Came across a cheap $10 subscription. Now, every year they send me half a dozen "last chance" renewal notices for arounby BernDog - Tips and Deals
Sorry, jeffNOTjohn. Just got up...my eyes are blurry and I missed what you already wrote about the $200. Nothing to see here, folks.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Promotion ended... I already had a plan for it, but that's ok. I don't know why they call this stuff helper. It does just fine by itself, huh?by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Also, it should only take a couple minutes of her time and cost nothing to download iTunes and try importing something. She'll have her own definitive answer lickety split.by BernDog - Tips and Deals

AFAIK, iTunes for Windows will import and convert (if desired) unprotected WMAs as-is, no problem. The Mac version will not...that's why we need EasyWMA.by BernDog - Tips and Deals

A distant uncle of sorts had this Verizon service at a family gathering a while back. He wasn't up on it technically to answer any of my questions, but it appeared as thougby BernDog - Tips and Deals
Is there any way to make these cards work with a desktop? I investigated this a couple months ago for my brother-in-law who lives in the boonies. Is there some kind of a reader you could use with this. I gave up looking the last time, but maybe I wasn't using the right search terms.by BernDog - Tips and Deals
Wait until we get a few more articles written more from a security standpoint. How many of them will say, "For maximum security, leave the Windows side disconnected from any network/internet access, and boot into Windows only for your critical applications. Switch to OS X for network access, internet access, and the rest of your daily computer needs." Assuming that most users' critby BernDog - Tips and Deals
I haven't seen it in person yet, but my dad bought one and tried hooking it up to his computer. I was going to have him buy a usb/optical converter to do full digital 5.1 surround, but it does not have any digital inputs. I then got a little curious and looked for reviews. This is the only one I could find: Apparently, it will only do L/R/sub with external sources. Quite the POS if youby BernDog - Tips and Deals

Recommended it to my dad for use as computer speakers already. He wanted something in the $50 range that would sound ok for iTunes playback in the office. My dad has a rip-off GMT that takes a "Rolex guy" to spot. It has a sweep second hand, just like the real thing. Also has a counterfeit Rolex hologram sticker on the back, jusby BernDog - Tips and Deals
