You could strip the inside of bathroom door and then stain everything else inside Bathroom to match vanity. In your case, maybe just stain everything to match rest of house. Neither look is wrong. Six of one, half dozen of the other. The only one who will notice or care is you.by slbett - Tips and Deals
If you are installing all new trim in bathroom you could match inside of door and rest of trim to match vanity. Otherwise, match the door and trim to rest of the house. P.S. There usually isn't a lot of trim in a bathroom so changing all of it isn't a lot of work. The vanity may be slightly different than existing so baseboard may need to be changed anyway.by slbett - Tips and Deals
I had a similar thing happen at an old store called Sun Appliances. I paid for my items and walked 20 feet to the door. Alarm went off and I turned around to go back to register. Two different cashiers at the register I went through said no, go ahead, It's been going off all day. Now from over 150 feet away a security guard who was talking to some girl nowhere near the door came running up and stby slbett - Tips and Deals
A good used saw with a cast iron table, belt drive for less blade vibration and above all a good fence. A Delta UniFence (mine) or a Biesemeyer fence are two that come to mind. Nothing beats a good blade that is SHARP. My blades run between $60 and $100 alone, but I can re-sharpen them many times. Most saws under $400 are fine for weekend projects, but a good saw requires less re-calibration andby slbett - Tips and Deals
I have it set for my Safari but still get them. Emptied cache and histories many times but doesn't help. They only pop behind if you click a link to any of the stories on home page.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Our local newspaper has ads that pop behind when you click on a news article. Is there anyway to stop these. Thanks Siteby slbett - Tips and Deals
I have more than the average number of DVD movies in my library but never bought a TV show and probably never will. I'm just wondering where people can buy shows other than iTunes and how much do they cost? Where can you play them is also important.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Nothing got installed. It is a program for windows. I'm on a MacBook with 10.4.10. It causes Safari to go to different page and then asks to download or cancel. Can't cancel and Since I'm on OS X it just locks up Safari and I have to force Quit. I can't close window or command q or quit from menu. Got me stumped. Must be an ActiveX or a Java or something.by slbett - Tips and Deals
The only way I can continue is to force quit. When I click a news story Safari is redirected to Performance enhancer site and asks to download. Last time I was at the Cleveland WEWS5 news site. TIAby slbett - Tips and Deals
important???? take to a good paint store with sample of wood you are using and have them match. Take drawer with you.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Ulnar is half of ring finger toward pinky and pinky. May have bumped elbow or constant pressure on elbow may have caused this. It has a mix of sensations. Tingles, numb, hot, cold and more. Mine is from scar tissue resulting from severe burns.by slbett - Tips and Deals

Unless it is above the rest of the grade in the yard it will only retain water. Raise the grade and have enough fall to let any water run off or skip it entirely. Moisture is going to form on metal if you are in a cold climate.by slbett - Tips and Deals
I used to use Entourage but have switched to Mail. My email needs are limited and can use Mail on more than one computer at a time on my network.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Faster startups was the key information I was passing along. Thought nothing would happen until new version came out.by slbett - Tips and Deals

My wife takes care of our cell phone plans. She gets a price break from work with Verizon and takes care of us and all the kids with a family plan. She is going to sign up and get new phones. I hate using them and only use them when I absolutely have to. I want iSync and bluetooth and a camera would be nice. I could care less about any other features. Does Verizon have any that have these featureby slbett - Tips and Deals
Very little, no maybe $200 or so. I would be using with a mono-pod leaning against a fence or braced against the fence for sport shots. A tripod on some indoor shots. The rest handheld as best as possible. Not a pro, just a father/grandfather trying to keep up wiith kids on the go. Point and shoot cameras aren't enough anymore. I know it is a vague question but I want to be a little informed befoby slbett - Tips and Deals
Thanks. That's what I thought. Recommend a Zoom lens to keep an eye out for? I don't know what to look for in a lens. Used one to save money is fine but I need to know which ones to look at. Thanks for your help to me and almost everyone that needs camera help here.by slbett - Tips and Deals
While you are here, I too want to go with a DSLR. I am looking at the Olympus E500 2 lens kit VS a Canon Rebel XT single lens. These are a little cheaper than latest models and would like to save a little. Portrait shots and some sports shots across the infield and the soccer field. (less than 200 feet) Sports are not diving or racing shots with very fast motion. Very large zoom and wide anglby slbett - Tips and Deals
I am quite happy with my $105 one with a bad CD that actually works after a disk cleaner ran once. It's a used G3 has a few years worth of use so a few scratches don't bother me. Less than I thought would be on it. I bought it as a throw in bag and carry back and forth with little worries about the finish.by slbett - Tips and Deals
I went for the $105 G3 500 from last batch. The hard drive was 30 not 20 and the CD worked from the start, Over all clean for a used laptop. Great for internet and Office for my wife to carry back and forth to work and meetings. Installed Tiger, iPhoto and iTunes. Less to worry about than keeping a constant eye on MacBook.by slbett - Tips and Deals
I have a Delta. Works great. It came with my Delta saw . I have also used the Biesemyer on other jobs and like them also. Adjust them and they are a pleasure to use. I absolutely hate using a stock fence on Craftsman saws and others. I never can trust their cuts to be true. I've never used the Incra so I can't comment.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Almost 2 years and won't ever go back.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Sharp blade. Go very slow and use two hands on saw with wood clamped down. If your saber saw has a rip fence, turn it upside down and fasten in center. Screw base of saw to a narrow thin piece of wood or similar and fasten that to center of hole. If you insist on standing in the middle, keep your elbows out so you won't fall through.by slbett - Tips and Deals
Like Lux said. Elmo, you hate Apple, the Mac and stupid people in groups like this. Why, oh, Why do you keep coming to this forum just to rant? He**, you can't even come up with an original signature. You stole it from a Demotivational poster from site below. I guess this Google search says it all. Despair, Inc. I had CS2 on my MacBook duo and while startup times were very long it was faster than my dual 1.25 G4 desktop with 1.75 GB ram. I just got CS3 and it starts much much faster on MacBook. I haven't had long enough to compare speed much with CS2 on G4 but am very satisfied. I would go with an Intel Mac (iMac or MacPro) for the future of Adobe and other software. In other words, lean forward all theby slbett - Tips and Deals
