That’s a very good gaming laptop, but the 4 GB Nvidia 1050Ti is setup for Full HD gaming - 1080i.

If you are stopped for 1-2 minutes at a traffic light, you are getting Zero mpg. Turning the gas engine off/on is much more efficient. My Rav4 hybrid with AWD gets 34 mpg.

It would not be safe on older vehicles to swich off the engine approaching a stop, because you would loose power steering and brakes. Hybrid vehicles are designed to turn the ICE off and still run the power steering and brakes - I assume these systems run on electric power.

OWC should supply battery calibration instructions with the new battery. Typically after you install the new battery, you’ll charge to 100% and then run the battery until the computer turns off, then recharging to 100% to calibrate. I don’t think it’s necessary to discharge/recharge on a monthly basis with modern lithium ion batteries.

Logitech B100 optical wired mouse at Staples for $7.99 in stock. Amazon has the Logitech M170 wireless mouse for $9.99. I never has any problems with a Logitech wired or wireless on the Raspberry Pi. If your looking for a wireless mouse/trackpad, I highly recommend the Logitech K400 Plus.

You could buy the new truck. After that transaction was completed, you should be able to get the frame replaced on the old truck. I don’t know why it would cost $3k if it was covered under recall.

Humblebundle announced a few days ago they were dropping macOS and Linux support. Activision Blizzard also acquired the entire Sierra Online library in 2008 - which means it will be Microsoft property. It’s not looking good for macOS gaming. A lot of the macOS library on Steam is not compatible with Catalina or greater.

You have a highly desirable mid 2012 MacBookPro with the upgraded i7 CPU. This is the last MBP that’s easily upgradeable. If i’s slow, it’s probably the hard drive. The 500 GB, 5400 rpm spinner may be on it’s last legs. You may want install a 2.5 inch SSD for better performance. I would install OSX 10.14 Mojave because of 32 bit compatibility.

The first generation iPad was released April 3, 2010. ICloud was first introduced in iOS 5, released October 12, 2011. You can upgrade the original iPad to iOS 5.11 according to Wiki Upgrading will take awhile, because I’m positive not a single iOS app that runs on the original iPad will work on the 9th generation iPad
