Can't get Brother HL-1870N to show in chooser - 19 years ago
I'm trying to print a Pagemaker 6.0 page from an iBook G3 600 with OS 10.1.2 to a Brother HL-1870N hooked up by USB. I can't get anything network-wise or Appletalk-wise to work and figure USB should do it. It will print OSX documents, but I need to print these PM pages which are in Classic or OS9. There are 3 lesser Brother printer icons in the chooser. I downloaded the 1870N driver and plby Dennis S - Tips and Deals

I burned a DVD off of a VHS which was recorded from a TV anntenna, using a JVC DR-MV5S onto a TY DVD blank. The original VHS quality was what I called a B+. The DVD looks "swimmy". Is this typical?by Dennis S - Tips and Deals

In OS 10.2.8, when I send mail, it hangs up in the Out box. I'm getting incoming mail, so I don't suspect my ISP.by Dennis S - Tips and Deals
