I still have a 2009 Mac Pro running El Cap and the full CS6 Suite. It's connected to the web when needed (which is rare, if ever) but I update nothing on that Mac. Once Adobe gets the opportunity to block your license it becomes a major PITA to resolve, if you can ever do it. You might be better off rolling back to a previous backup of your drive prior to their crippling your license, obviously,by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteTiangou "I had to misappropriate millions in public relief funds to promote my kid's sports team, commit wire fraud to divert federal funds to the fake medical company I've been using for a tax write-off, and get paid more than a million bucks for state-funded speaking engagements that I blew off for gambling trips because I've got Parkinson's" doesn't seem logically sound, but he'by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteWags QuoteJoeM I looked at a comparison of photos taken with a16Pro Max and a 12Pro Max and while the 16 has some nice new features, based solely on photo quality, I don’t see any reason to upgrade. Bragging rights? Nah, I just want a better camera, c’mon Apple!by JoeM - Tips and Deals
I loved the Hollies back in the 60s and still do. Look Through Any Window was a big influence for me when first learning to play guitar. I still have the 45. Very cool to see the video again. Notice Graham Nash playing a Vox New Escort, a Fender Telecaster ripoff:by JoeM - Tips and Deals

QuoteFritz not heard of Gnocco. My old stomping grounds and a buddy lives nearby. It was a new one for me. My son-in-law took me to dinner there. I was really surprised at how good everything was.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteBlack I'm going to be in NYC for a few days next month without much of an agenda besides seeing NYPhil. Any recommendation for where to get the most authentic "NY Style Pizza?" I’d say John’s on Bleecker St. for really good NyC style pizza. Also Gnocco on 337 E 10th St if you want really excellent, authentic pizza and food like you get in Italy. Their white truffle pizza is tby JoeM - Tips and Deals

Can’t read the article without an account. I can’t really make a choice based on the image in the post. As an owner of a 12Pro who has actually won some competitions with it, I can say I’m really happy with the photos at times but disappointed with results in low light at other times. Was hoping the 16Pro was a major leap forward but from what I’m reading so far, I’m not so sure.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
Big loss to the music and songwriter community. Here’s one of my favorite JD performances. His harmony is impeccable working over and under James Taylor’s vocal. And the band was exceptional!by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteFritz sad but true. as much as I'm a student of rnr, r&b etc of my youth, I seldom listen to much new other than jazz. too much sameness Me too, Jazz and stuff from the 60s/70s/80s. Back around 2000 I thought about writing and playing country stuff because there were great players doing that style. But after looking into it and seeing what friends trying to break in we’re going throby JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteRolando QuoteJoeM The music business isn't interested in bands, for the most part. Too difficult to control, too much extra work. They prefer soloists who are malleable, have a "look" and do what they're told. They already have the production crews that crank out the "product", so talent is not required. "guitar groups are on the way out" “Guitar groupsâ€by JoeM - Tips and Deals
Unfortunately a sign of the times. The sad part is while there are plenty of fine young musicians/artists coming up behind the old guard, we'll most likely never get an opportunity to hear them due to the schlock, musically talentless sharks running the music business.by JoeM - Tips and Deals

Hopefully each week will be an improvement. Hang in there. I have a family member going through breast cancer for 14 yrs, this is the third time it's come back. She's just coming home today from a week in the hospital. Every day will be better.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
My wife's on her second model 3. She recently had her windshield cracked in 5 places, long cracks, and her hood was scratched up pretty bad. She saw it the next day after coming home from a late evening work meeting. She couldn't get in driveway service and was told she'd need to bring the car in to a service station. She couldn't get service for a few days and she was afraid to drive the car witby JoeM - Tips and Deals
Good luck! I've gotten every vaccine, always Moderna except one time, Pfizer. Always lays me up for a few days. I'm thinking of doing it opposite - flu shot in a week or two then COVID 2 weeks after. I was told to hold off till Oct for the COVID shot so if they see the virus is changing they can alter the vaccine a bit. Don't know how true that is.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteFritz n4n, find thee a qualified PT to fix your posture. This. They can perform soft tissue massage, teach you stretches and strengthening exercises. You can use heat/ice packs to help with local pain.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
23 years and in my mind I can still see my whole long day in NYC. It was the last day I would work in television and I did not return to NYC for several years. I can’t say it has gotten any easier to think about.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
Sounds burdensome and taxing but glad your treatment is underway. Wishing you speedy, positive results.by JoeM - Tips and Deals
QuoteLizabeth On Apple TV now. Yes, it’s 3.5 hours but it’s Ridley Scott. None of the director’s cuts of his movies have been a disappointment. It fills out Josephine’s story a bit. Plus I watch his other movie the Duelists after it. He has a wonderful eye for storytelling even on a tight budget. I’ve been meaning to see it. Thanks for reminding me! I thought the Dualists was a greby JoeM - Tips and Deals
