He was the villain. How did Bill Nelson win his Senate seat? He ran right alongside Gore. Something like 37 counties flipped from Republican to Democrat to vote for him. The only difference that's clearly visible is he didn't have to face Ralph Nader's raggedy ass. He won again in 2006. If Nader doesn't run, Gore wins.
