It does seem unfair that Georgia with 1 loss was left out, they had the best loss by far of the 1 loss teams. Alabama and Texas had losses to lower ranked teams (in the case of Texas much lower).by Carnos Jax - Tips and Deals

I tend to agree with you. The NBA has a better system. But that’s only practical with basketball. Football is such a production that it’s impractical to have a series of games in each playoff round, so we’re stuck with what we got.by Carnos Jax - Tips and Deals

Thing is, the playoffs are supposed to be about the four best teams, not the four most deserving teams. And in my opinion Alabama is probably the best team in the country right now, better than Texas, Florida State, Washington, and even Michigan. Therefore I think it would be hard to exclude them. One thing in regards to the OP, keep in mind the CT will eventually come down in price. That RWD model will eventually come down to $50K to $40K (or less) and probably go up in range.
