At the posted link I get $179, although I know I saw this one at 90 something recently, Our sponsor also offers a very similar thunderbolt hub at a similar price when on sale. I got one for under $100.

There's really not enough info available. Room size? Built in speaker + everything else placement? If I was just hobbying, I'd get Fritz's little amp and give it a try. More likely than not getting the audio out of the flat panel and into a speaker will be an improvement. If you want to move toward a screening room environment, much, much more is involved.
