I back up the wife's laptop with Backblaze for a remote backup. I also bought a Time Capsule on eBay, put in a bigger drive, and set it up on my network so her laptop backs up to that locally. Plus, I have an external drive that I use to make a clone whenever we get around to hooking it up.

We have Family Sharing turned on so we can share apps amongst myself, the wife and kid. I have a certain app that I have paid to unlock some features and get rid of ads. The question is, are you not allowed to share paid apps? When they install the app on their phone, they do not get the unlocked version but are asked to pay again to unlock it.

Her laptop runs like crazy, with fans blowing the whole time, even though she's just googling stuff. Sometimes, if she unplugs it, the battery dies quickly. Other times, it's fine. This. This right here. This would have been a better intro to the “new” DCU. Supergirl. Not famous but people get the “super” name. Plus Lobo is a fan favorite. I think this would have been a far greater beginning to intro some new people and stuff they’ve not done before. Instead of yet another Superman movie.

I’d uninstall the extension just b/c of how scammy they are. Whether it’s robbing money from affiliate links or taking kickbacks from retailers to hide coupons from you. It doesn’t need to affect be directly to see what a shitshow this is.

I just have a cheap LED strip that was labeled "bias lighting" on Amazon. It works well. I had to use some extra attachments to keep it held down. The adhesive on the strip wasn't that good, but I like the effect. It can change color, but I just leave it as is. It's plugged into the USB port on the TV, so it turns on and turns off with the TV.

Dang. I was hoping it would be at least decent. I'll still watch it. I like Kraven. I even watch Madame Web. That was...horrible. I cannot imagine this being worse.

I recently got a bill for $88,000, but I was able to log into MyChart and "see" what all the charges were for. I should also say that I got the bill b/c my insurance company screwed up and reset my deductible.

I don't know what's going on. She said she recently went to a public area where they had Wi-Fi set up (she's in WNC, by the way), and she could connect. Everything was good. I tried explaining that that was wifi, not a hot spot. And that just because she is connecting to Wi-Fi at home only means her Wi-Fi is working, not her internet. That is the biggest disconnect between the two of us. It's a c

I asked her that. She went to her phone, turned it off and back on again. And no dice. I even had her reset the network settings. And it STILL didn't work. I'm not sure what the deal is. But this is the same person that I set up a brand new computer for. I went through every setting, launched every app, prepared for EVERY contingency, and mailed it to her. Two days later, its broken.
