You could make vinegar. I’ve been buying it for years, and, like most vinegars, it lasts forever. Quite expensive but delicious. Might make a nice homemade gift. I buy the product in the link.by jimmy d - Tips and Deals

Yesterday I went to an Apple store in CT to check out the new iPad Pros. While doing so, I overheard a customer near me being told, after a lengthy sales pitch and without apology, that he would not be able to actually buy the object of his desire right then, even though they had it in stock, because they were "out of appointments for the day." I selected 3 photos in the photo app and wrote a lengthy message to send with them. (This was on my iPhone.) Near the end of my message I was interrupted for 10-15 mins and set the phone aside. When I returned the text and recipient had disappeared. Photos are still there. Search as I may, I still can’t find the text. it must be there somewhere, mustn’t it? I did not erase or delete it. QuoteDP I believe there are some who escaped cages in the NYC area and have thrived and have become acclimated in that area. Here in CT we have a few colonies of wild parakeets, presumably started by escapees. They build enormous communal nests that sometimes interfere with power lines. Thus they are considered pests, at least by the utility people.by jimmy d - Tips and Deals
QuoteMicroman Same with Kohler, here I bought this Kohler faucet a couple of years ago for about $1000 installed: About two months later one of the ceramic H and C caps separated from the pronged handle and fell off. I couldn't figure out how to reattach it; there were no traces of glue. So I called Kohler. The rep told me the handle and cap shipped as one piece and, short of gluing, itby jimmy d - Tips and Deals
I feel very sorry for Gens alpha and C (if Gen C happens). I feel sorry for the world that they are going to inherit; that we left things in the shape we did for them; that we didn't care enough about the environment and their mental and physical health; that we all just cared about ourselves and pursuit of money and material goods; and that we didn't care enough to make sure that they would hby jimmy d - Tips and Deals

Quoteneophyte I would ask the plumber what is in the water that will cause the "deterioration", and how the components of the proposed purification system will remove, or neutralize, those components. Is he/she a chemist moonlighting as a plumber, or vice versa? Excellent point. If whatever substance the plumber thinks is in your water is strong enough to corrode the PEX, you may haveby jimmy d - Tips and Deals
