Goodness, what a loss. I can't tell you how many days I was home sick from school and made sure to watch The Price Is Right at 11AM. And then, to be able to be a contestant later in life. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have met him. -Finneyby Finney - Tips and Deals
One of my favorite album moments of all time is the juxtaposition of the end of the first song (Death On Two Legs) and the beginning of the second song (Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon). I'm not sure there could really be two more contrasting songs arranged back-to-back like these two. -Finneyby Finney - Tips and Deals
I've done this for all of my recent flights. When my luggage missed the connection a few months back, it was nice to know where it was. -Finneyby Finney - Tips and Deals
QuoteWagsIs that the Midnight color? Heard a lot of gripes about fingerprints on that color. Yes! It's a shame, too. It's a really neat color, but no matter what I do to try and keep it clean, there are smudges everywhere.by Finney - Tips and Deals
I have an M2 MacBook Air (24GB/2TB/Blue) and with the exception of converting video (using Compressor or ffmpeg), I've never noticed it throttle. To me, it feels wicked fast with everything I've thrown at it, including Final Cut Pro (multicam with five HD video sources), Logic Pro (16 audio tracks with tons of plugins) and Xcode. I absolutely love this machine. If I were to pick one thing I'dby Finney - Tips and Deals
This was a fantastic video, thank you for sharing it, Speedy! It brought back a number of memories, including just how hard Bob Barker grabbed my elbow as he, um, encouraged me to walk from the wheel over to the area contestants stand after spinning. -Finneyby Finney - Tips and Deals
I truly enjoyed Project Hail Mary. I've read it three times now, and each time I find that I enjoy it even more than the last time. Let me be clear: I'm easily amused and entertained. I enjoyed Artemis as well, and, of course, The Martian. Project Hail Mary has been my favorite of all three books so far.by Finney - Tips and Deals

I love this machine! I keep one around so that I can boot into OS 9, as I still have a few audio projects left over from back in the day.by Finney - Tips and Deals
Quotehal'THAT'S FRANKS ZAPPA? I had no idea...' I'm a Zappa fan as well, which is why I never knock the music anyone else listens to.* *Unless it is anything that has come out this century.by Finney - Tips and Deals

The ones here in Sunnyvale and Campbell are both ghost towns as well. Their inventory is a small fraction of what it used to be, and each time I visit there seems to be even less. I can't imagine they'll last another few months (although I remember saying that a few months ago as well). It's a shame, I always loved going to Fry's, as they seemed to carry so much that no other brick and mortarby Finney - Tips and Deals
QuoteMarkintosh Being a Sac guy, check out Daniel Swain at weatherwest.com Unfortunately Daniel has gotten very busy and makes posts infrequently. However there is a very active community of knowledgable people that unofficially add commentary on each post, on a minute by minute basis, about California weather. Living in San Jose for the last ten years, I've loved reading his posts on Weatherby Finney - Tips and Deals

I've been buying from Waterfield since 2001. I absolutely love their sleeves, bags and cases. I currently have sleeves for my MacBook Pro, my MacBook Air, and a bag to carry them both. I can't recommend them enough, they are worth every dollar. Let me know if I can answer any specific questions. -Finneyby Finney - Tips and Deals

After reading steps six and seven, I believe the above instructions were written for Tiger. Since the release of Leopard, Mac OS X hasn't used the netinfo database to store user information. I believe you will find the relevant user information in: /var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/users In this folder, you should see a file that looks like: username.plist, where "username" is the namby Finney - Tips and Deals
