QuoteSDGuy I've been using WiFi File Transfer Pro for years now to move files to/from my phone to other devices. THANK YOU, THANK YOU SDGuy! The best $1.40 I've spent yesterday. It worked perfectly except it doesn't move the photos to the SD card. I just manually created a folder on the card and moved the photos over.by norse - Tips and Deals
Quotevision63 I'm not understanding why Adobe File Transfer doesn't work. You have to download the app to your Mac, then connect the phone via USB and it "should" pop up the Android phone directory. It seems to go one direction only. From phone to Mac. It has two buttons: Phone and Card. How do I go the other direction? Mac to phone??by norse - Tips and Deals
QuoteSDGuy I've been using WiFi File Transfer Pro for years now to move files to/from my phone to other devices. I just read a current review saying it no longer works with SD cards. Do you know if this is true?by norse - Tips and Deals
I stumbled upon some Dr.Fone step-by-step instructions. I'll look into this. History: I use Photo Transfer App to copy new photos on my phone to the Mac. It keeps the albums in sync in its folder. PTA says it will download to the phone but the instruction are not so easy to follow. These photos are not in Apple Photos (yet). I shut off Google Photos. QuoteRolando You could put the SD card into your Mac/SD Reader reader, copy the photos to the card, and then put the card in the phone? I don't have an android, but that should work... Yes...I didn't think about doing that. I'll give it a try. Thanks.by norse - Tips and Deals
I cannot find a way to copy photos from Mac to Android phone. All searches show instructions from phone to Mac. I've tried Android File Transfer and Dr. Fone. Again, phone to Mac. Please help me. I was trying to delete the photos from Google Photos because I'm running out of free Google space. QuotePeterB QuoteMarc Anthony Without fit testing, there's no guarantee that an N95 produces the seal necessary to achieve its full protection, and it may provide little—if any—more benefit than a lesser mask. With respect, it's usually pretty easy to test fit with N95's ... there are instructions right on the package (and also on the web from 3M), and usually with well-made N95's, it's easby norse - Tips and Deals

It looks like I won't be needing a meter now. I have 2 new dashcams (2 cars) that only came with a 5 volt cigarette lighter adapter to power the cameras. I have existing power cables from the fuse box for the previous cameras and I was hoping to use the existing cables. Since the step down transformers are buried in the panels I didn't want to "dig" them out to see what the outpuby norse - Tips and Deals

Thanks for everyone's comments! Is Catalina "safe" enough to install at this time? Or should I go with the prior OS? It's been so long since I've upgraded OS, that I forgot the name of the OS before Catalina.by norse - Tips and Deals
I need to supply more info. Old iMac: OS is High Sierra 10.13.6 New iMac: Has the hard drive/Fusion combo with whatever OS installed. I have 32GB of ram to install. I'm finally ready to move my iMac 2009 to a new iMac 2019. I think this is what I want to do. Use Target Disk Mode with the correct cable. Apple docs refer to this cable: I already have this cable. Is this the same as the Zagg?: Is Target disk mode the best way to go? I also have Carbon Copy Cloner and Time Machine backups.by norse - Tips and Deals

If I put in switches, I can then use regular bulbs (not LEDs) to light the entire fixture. With the LEDs now, only half the fixture is lit up.by norse - Tips and Deals
Thanks for all the feedback. I use them outside the front of the house at night. Two on either side of the garage and two in a fixture outside the front door. I guess I don't need 100 watt eq. but I want white/cool white (not warm). I was thinking of putting in smart switches and be done with the the smart bulbs. I've purchased 8 smart bulbs in August 2019 (4 each from a different company) for outside use. They were 100 watt equivalent. I use 4 bulbs at a time. Four from one company began to fail by Jan-June 2020 and I believe they are out of business. I used the second set to replace the first set as they failed one by one. Now, the second set is failing too. I was able to get 2 bulbs replaced under wby norse - Tips and Deals
Quotetestcase "I think I’d be losing voltage at the length I’d need and maybe run into overheating or stalling. Am I wrong in assuming that?" You could be. An extension cord that has 12ga wires would be safe out 50'. 10ga wires would get you a useful working length of 100'. I've bought GE brand, 35' extension cords that had 12ga wires at warehouse cubs. I was a computer programmer for 22 years (COBOL, mainframe, AS/400). Got laid off and I could not find another job in the U.S. I then went back to school at age 48 to study to be a X-ray Tech. I had very old gutters before without covers and they handle the valley run-off well. It was when I had a new roof and gutters/screen put in that the problem began.
