One thing I like about Prime is that if a package is late, I can chat with customer service and they will give me a month for free. I have done this numerous times over the years and usually get 4-6 months free throughout the year. The chat session only takes 5 minutes or less too.

Hey kap, no need to get an activation code for your Windows 7 as long as you can get a DVD that is branded for your device. For instance, if you use a Dell DVD to install the OS onto the Dell device it will automatically pull the activation/registration key over without any hassle at all. I do this all the time at work. I would go with 5e. The speed of Cat 5 is 10/100 where as 5e is 1000. Also 5e is usually made better than Cat5. I think for a business rewiring Cat 6 is a good future proof, but for residential I would just save the Cat 6 money and go with Cat 5e. Just remember though no matter how fast your wire is if your router is a little old it will just run at that speed.

General usage. I will be traveling a little bit and out and about...coffee shops, eateries, other public wifi etc. At home I just feel a VPN will help with keeping anonymous on the World Wide Web. LOL Also a little BBC and English Premier.

Do not allow the user account to install and uninstall programs. OpenDNS is a must as well to have some sort of filtering, especially when kids are involved. But just remember, adults do crazy things at churches as well.

I use Downcast and love it. I like the fact that I can que downloads to download only when you are connected via Wi-fi. It will also automatically delete episodes after a certain amount of time etc.

Is there a way to have a second monitor that is not mirrored to have the Dock on both computers? With Mavericks it seems that the menu bar can be had on both, but not the Dock. Is there a 3rd party solution? Thanks

I guess major version update would be better wording. The version now is several years old. They used to give a major update every year or so, maybe 18 months or so. I have not even heard of a newer version for any of those products. Personally, I would love to see a Pages Plus version which would be more inline with InDesign. According to the icon on the top I have a full bar signal, but even with that sometimes it cuts out. I have not tried a wired connection however, since I do not have a wire the length I need. Also, I find it odd that it would occur both at home and at work, they are about 10 miles apart. Maybe someone is doing some super experiment with a frequency that lives in between both locations. The 2008 MBP is almost right next to the WiFi router and the other computer which is using wireless as well is maybe 10 yards away through a wall as well.

Not really sure what the problem is. My early 2008 MBP recently has been giving me problems with wireless. But I am also confused about it as well. My download speed has suffered greatly in terms of bandwidth, it should be around 20-30MB but it now consistently clocks around 1 MB or so. However, the upload speed has stayed around the same at 3 MB. Does this point to the airport card going bad on
