It wasn't quite what was I was expecting but the fact that the it keeps giving the "Sorry.." is frustrating as well. Don't they sell AWS too????by pokari - Tips and Deals
One thing I like about Prime is that if a package is late, I can chat with customer service and they will give me a month for free. I have done this numerous times over the years and usually get 4-6 months free throughout the year. The chat session only takes 5 minutes or less too.by pokari - Tips and Deals
Depending on the subnets used, and how the IT guys have it setup, you might be able to change your subnet mask on your computer and print.by pokari - Tips and Deals
Hey kap, no need to get an activation code for your Windows 7 as long as you can get a DVD that is branded for your device. For instance, if you use a Dell DVD to install the OS onto the Dell device it will automatically pull the activation/registration key over without any hassle at all. I do this all the time at work. Also, if people are using Windows 8, you can get a little free app calledby pokari - Tips and Deals

I got mine a few months ago when Canon was having a huge refurb sale, love it!!! It is pretty awesome. Pics of the craters on the moon look awesome!by pokari - Tips and Deals
I think all that will work is the radio feature. I think playing downloaded music is a Premium feature.by pokari - Tips and Deals
I would go with 5e. The speed of Cat 5 is 10/100 where as 5e is 1000. Also 5e is usually made better than Cat5. I think for a business rewiring Cat 6 is a good future proof, but for residential I would just save the Cat 6 money and go with Cat 5e. Just remember though no matter how fast your wire is if your router is a little old it will just run at that speed.by pokari - Tips and Deals
General usage. I will be traveling a little bit and out and about...coffee shops, eateries, other public wifi etc. At home I just feel a VPN will help with keeping anonymous on the World Wide Web. LOL Also a little BBC and English Premier.by pokari - Tips and Deals
Long story short, I am in the market for a different VPN service. Any suggestions? Usage is "normal usage".... for this forum. Both Mac, Windows, and iDevice use. Thanks!!by pokari - Tips and Deals
Iran might have a drone it might be willing to sell, since they just found it, anything is profit right?by pokari - Tips and Deals
I agree!! They both had a chance to win, which is remarkable in and of itself. That offside trap, wow, never seen that much consistency at the international level.by pokari - Tips and Deals
Do not allow the user account to install and uninstall programs. OpenDNS is a must as well to have some sort of filtering, especially when kids are involved. But just remember, adults do crazy things at churches as well.by pokari - Tips and Deals
QuoteWags I wonder how many people driving behind them have seizures? European host guy speaks pretty good Japanese (I'm assuming). His Japanese is pretty good, but he still has that foreigner twang.by pokari - Tips and Deals
I use Downcast and love it. I like the fact that I can que downloads to download only when you are connected via Wi-fi. It will also automatically delete episodes after a certain amount of time etc.by pokari - Tips and Deals

Quote~Dan Quotepqrst Mac towers especially from the blue G3 on were always easy to work on (can't speak for the new Mac Pro). On the other hand, the laptops have been getting harder and harder. Apparently you never changed out a hard drive in a G3 or G4 iBook. Got that right!!! Not fun!by pokari - Tips and Deals
Are CompTIA certifications really necessary to get jobs? What certifications are really needed to work in the IT field generally speaking?by pokari - Tips and Deals
Is there a way to have a second monitor that is not mirrored to have the Dock on both computers? With Mavericks it seems that the menu bar can be had on both, but not the Dock. Is there a 3rd party solution? Thanksby pokari - Tips and Deals
I guess major version update would be better wording. The version now is several years old. They used to give a major update every year or so, maybe 18 months or so. I have not even heard of a newer version for any of those products. Personally, I would love to see a Pages Plus version which would be more inline with InDesign. But Keynote took out the ability to insert HTML, which was a rby pokari - Tips and Deals
Is Keynote, Numbers, and Pages essentially dead? They have not really seem to have been updated in years. Seems like it is Apple abandon ware now.by pokari - Tips and Deals
Quotespace-time maybe a loose antenna connection in your MBP Yeah, I am thinking it is something like that. I plugged it up to a wired connection today and did some tests and let it download some larger files and all was well. I guess the next question is, is it hard to get to the antenna?by pokari - Tips and Deals
According to the icon on the top I have a full bar signal, but even with that sometimes it cuts out. I have not tried a wired connection however, since I do not have a wire the length I need. Also, I find it odd that it would occur both at home and at work, they are about 10 miles apart. Maybe someone is doing some super experiment with a frequency that lives in between both locations. The 2008 MBP is almost right next to the WiFi router and the other computer which is using wireless as well is maybe 10 yards away through a wall as well.by pokari - Tips and Deals
I have rebooted the router and modem. It happens at my workplace as well, and I have rebooted everything there also.by pokari - Tips and Deals
Not really sure what the problem is. My early 2008 MBP recently has been giving me problems with wireless. But I am also confused about it as well. My download speed has suffered greatly in terms of bandwidth, it should be around 20-30MB but it now consistently clocks around 1 MB or so. However, the upload speed has stayed around the same at 3 MB. Does this point to the airport card going bad onby pokari - Tips and Deals
I have no idea, but the original warranty (1 year) is good for anyone owning the product or does it not transfer with ownership?by pokari - Tips and Deals
Thanks for the replies, so Applecare is associated with the product not with the owner and/or product?by pokari - Tips and Deals
