As I was hiking up the switch-back trail on Mt. Evans, I looked way up the trail and a mountain goat appeared at the next turn. I stopped and took a picture, figuring he would run off any second. I did. In the late 80s and early 90s, I used it to send commands to my house. On the house end was an Apple II + (later an Apple IIgs) sporting an AppleCat modem. Once the internet became a thing, I switched to email commands.

I got one in December when they had the same deal. Easy install and no complaints. I had to add a 24 vac transformer since my furnace did not have a "C" wire, which powers the thermostat. BTW, not totally free, you have to pay tax and shipping (just under $13).
