Hi All, My yard has a lot of this weed growing in it and this year i'd like to finally get rid of it. it grows in patches and always comes right back after i pull it out. I don't want to kill any of the grass where it grows, so i want to make sure i get the right chemical to kill it and not the grass. I would highly recommend GreenPeakImaging. They've supplied me with high quality toner and inks too. Very environmentally friendly/responsible if that makes a difference to you. The owner, Dennis, is a longtime mac user too! Ask for him. Local to me in New Jersey.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals

I'm so sorry for your loss and I wish there was something I could do or say to make you feel better. My prayers go out to you.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
I've always printed up their posts to read when i had the time. With the new layout, the complete posts will not print out, only the first page will. Does anyone know a way around this ?by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Thoth. Try Thoth. I'm not going to go into its history and why some people hate it (I love it, there is no better newsreader), but I recommend you look for it at macupdate. Pay for it...Brian Clark is nice guy and deserves to be paid for it.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals

The best printer support and parts guys in the business is a company called Metrofuser. Their site is www.metrofuser.com and their phone number is easy enough to remember - 1-888-FUSERS1. I've used them before in the past and they've come through for me every time. Alisonby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Thank you. It is not a leased car, so I don't have to worry about any of that. However, I will look into taking it to small claims court.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
This is true, but I will never get full value for my car if I sell/trade it in. It will now be considered in "fair condition" no matter how good the car looks after the body work is completed. The difference is being in the "good condition" category will get me approx. $1000 more.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Imagine two vehicles parked side by side - both are the same year, make and model, both with the same options, both with the same mileage, they're even the same color. The only difference is that one recently had $8,000 worth of collision repairs. If the price were the same, the only difference being the accident history, which one would you buy ? Absolutely go through their ins. co. I was recently in an accident and did not want to pay ANYTHING out of my pocket. Make sure you get them to give you a rental car while your car is in the shop.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Hello, My car was recently hit by another vehicle and was just told that there is no diminution of value for my vehicle. My car is still in the shop (3 weeks now) and the damage is exceeding $4,000. Since the other person was totally at fault their ins. co. is paying for the repairs and giving me a rental car. If there is no diminution value in the state of NJ, then how do I recover the loss ofby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Hi all - This month, a house across the street from me just sold after having been on the market for almost a year. Being mindful of falling property values, I want to find out how much it was purchased for and i obviously can't just ask the new folks. Is there a site that lists this information ? I live in New Jersey. I looked online, but every site that offered this kind of info was someby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals

Yes, the .DMG file on my desktop and when I open it, it mounts the disk image and then i can access the files normally. No request for a password.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Hi everybody, I need some help! I'm trying to create a secure disk image that requires a password to access its contents, using Disk Utility (I'm running 10.4.10). I create it and select Encrypt and set the password. I'm following the instructions exactly as described in Disk Utility Help. The disk image gets created, but it never asks for a password to access it, its acting just like a folby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Awesome! Looks like a complete reference like the Readers Digest Complete DIY Manual and a subscription to Family Handyman is the way to go! Cheap enough, Family Handyman is $24 for a 2 year sub from the source or $22 from bestdealmagazines. And the big book, the RD Complete DIY Manual can be had for $5 plus shipping at Amazon and $1 on eBay! Cary - can you find me a link to Today's Homeownwby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
My husband and I just bought our first home. It was built in 1953 and needs all kinds of repairs, both minor and major and lots of updating. I want to subscribe to at least one home improvement magazine that doesn't cater to professionals or those with a somewhat advanced knowledge of that kinda of stuff. when i type exit, the display goes blue and i get the spinning gear as if it's booting in to the GUI normally, but then after a few seconds it goes right back to the black display and command prompt. I will try to boot off of the install CD and try repairing the volume. Thanks for the ideas, any more ?by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
I've tried booting off the OS X install CD, I can do that. Startup drive is set correctly to the only HD. If I hold down shift while starting up, it still does the same thing. There is nothing physically holding down the CMD-S and/or V keys... Any other ideas ?by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Hi all, I don't know what I did wrong, but when I start up my MacBook Pro now, it doesn't boot up OS X's GUI, it goes right to a black screen that says Darwin/BSD and asks for my login and password. I know my login and password, but what do i do after i enter it to get back into Aqua/OS X GUI ? After I enter my name and password it says "welcome to Darwin!" and gives me a command promby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals

Now I'm thinking I'll probably stick with Pioneer. I guess it's gonna be the 111D. I dont need Lightscribe, its cool but I dont like the amount of time it takes to create the image on the disc.by ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
I think it's time to upgrade my Pioneer 108 DVD burner. Served me well for a few years but I think it's time to move up. I'm inclined to get another Pioneer. What's their current model and is speed the only increase I can expect ? I have no experience with Lite-On or Sony or NEC - does anyone here use or recommend them ? or not recommend them ? Is Tiger fully compatible with burners out thereby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
Starting January 29th, Costco is having a sale on TDK printable 16x blank DVDs (with the coupon). The deal is $20 off a $41 dollar spindle of 100 discs. I remember reading a discussion here or at that other place where the general consensus was that TDK DVDs made in China were significantly more reliable than those made in India, or vise versa, I don't remember. Costco now has stickers on eacby ItsMeAlison - Tips and Deals
