I have been using the Sears Craftsman C3 line of power tools for a few years now and they have served me well for home use. Here's a good deal on a combo kit with two batteries and a charger. Sears.com You can also get them with Lithium-Ion batteries. I just recently bought a Li-Ion battery and charger for my set. Lighter and more power, although the NiCads work fine for every job I've thrown atby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
Since I ordered my refurb mini from the Apple Store all I had to do was enter my apple ID and password. The Up-To-Date package was added to my cart and all I had to do was check out. Thanks!by cyclemax - Tips and Deals
Quotehonu Sounds like he hasn't lost that quality. He might have played the song and dance to the media, but sounds like sour grapes behind the scenes I think that both Lance and Contador have made it very clear during the entire tour that they don't like one another. By the same token, they respect each other as riders. Also, don't forget that Lance rode for Astana for free. He says that theby cyclemax - Tips and Deals

Yes, bicycles are considered vehicles until they are involved in an accident with a car. Then, they are considered pedestrians. I hit a cyclist leaving my work parking lot. I was making a right turn onto the road. She came around a corner traveling in the wrong direction on the sidewalk(no cycling on sidewalks in my state). As I was rolling onto the street(looking to my left for cars), she cut inby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
Cars should go in the order that they stop. If two or more cars stop at the same time, you should yield to the car to your right.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals
QuoteBlack Do you know if either of these have a "real" on/off switch or do they both automatically spin up and mount when they receive power? Thx . . . The FreeAgent Pro does have a "real" on/off switch but it is a soft touch switch which takes a light touch to work properly. I didn't care for it too much. The FreeAgent Xtreme does not have a power switch. It turns on wheby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
This is the older model. I had one of these and the interface board failed after about 3 months of use. Seagate replaced it with a brand new FreeAgent Xtreme model, which I believe is the newer version of this drive. The one I had came pre-formatted for the Mac and included some Mac backup software. I didn't care much for the soft touch power button. It always seemed flakey to me. Great price tby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
Also upgraded my old Razor V3 to a new 16 GB iPhone 3GS. They didn't have them it stock so I won't get it for a week or so. The store was packed, and a lot of people were looking at the iPhones. A common statement I heard from the sales people concerning the competition was " It's not as good as the iPhone but..." My daughter wound up getting an LG Neon. QuoteC(-)ris I'd just put a note on the door saying don't leave any packages without a signature. That should take care of it. Of course this is assuming that the driver will read the note. I've had drivers just leave a package on my porch and never come near the front door. In general, in my area, if UPS has not had any problems in a neighborhood they will leave a package without even tryingby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
QuoteLee3 The 60Hz is giving me a headache just like the old computer monitors did with a low refresh rate. I was under the impression flicker in LCD's is not an issue as with CRT's. The nature of the LCD panel is to continuously display a color until the need to change that color. The CRT will shoot new images over and over again, hence the need for high refresh rates. Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. Doctor's nurse called me and told me there was a spot and to have it re-checked in three months. I didn't question it because I know my doctor and he would have called me personally if there was even the smallest reason for concerned. Evidently these are common, and as long as you are healthy and a non-smoker, a three month follow-up scan is a reasby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
I see one every day. One of my co-workers owns one. It's in pretty descent shape. He just had it painted last year. Back when gas was $4+ a gallon, people were asking and getting top dollar for these things. A 1996 model sold for $7300 on ebay. In 1995, the Metro sold for $9000 new. Just wipe off as much as you can using a dry lint free wipe. Most solvents won't touch the silicone based grease. Freon TF works but you can't get that anymore. Chromic acid in sulfuric acid will work but that's overkill for your goal and you don't want to go there. The thin residue film you would leave behind dry wiping shouldn't cause you any problems.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals
Amazon, Staples, Office Max, etc. very often ship items in original packaging. I've seen printers, scanners, computers, vacuum cleaners and similar items arrive with just a UPS shipping label slapped on the box. I doubt UPS denies any of these company's claims for damage.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals
Glad to hear you're ok. Cyclists always lose in those situations. I have close to 250,000 miles of road riding under my belt and have been involved in several accidents. I've fractured my hand, shattered my collar bone, fractured my pelvis, separated my shoulder and have had more bruises and road rash than I care to think about. Out of all the accidents, only one was due to my own stupidity.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals

From what I've read, you can only open MS Works files with MS Works. You only option is to have them save the file in RTF format. I also believe that Works can save a file in older Office formats, which you should be able to open in Word.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals

QuoteAAA epson and 'sitting' without use is a disaster waiting to happen. Normally I would agree. I had an Epson 740 for which this was definitely the case. I couldn't even use generic ink. But, I have been using the R320 in the mode I mentioned for over 3 years without any problems. At the very worst, I run one head cleaning cycle, and any clogs clear right up. Plus, I also have a cleaning kiby cyclemax - Tips and Deals
I bought a six pack of generic Meritline cartridges for my Epson R320 a couple of years ago for less than the cost of one set of Epson cartridges. They have worked great. The printer sits sometimes for months at a time without use, and I have not had any problems with clogs. Output is just as good as the original Epson cartridges.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals

I was just reviewing the statement from one of my cards online when a I noticed two charges that I didn't recognize. They were small, on the order of $2-$3. For a Road/Sport bike, and depending on the front gearing and your riding level, unless your climbing steep grades your shouldn't need a 30 and probably won't use the 28 much. I believe the Giant has a 34/50 Crankset. A 34/28 should handle most road situations.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals
My TV came with a Ferrite Core in the accessory bag. The owner's manual said a Ferrite core was needed for any HDMI cable connected to the side port on the TV. They were not necessary on the three back HDMI ports. So, I would suggest checking your owners manual to see if they are necessary for your TV.by cyclemax - Tips and Deals
