They should be in your Music Folder in a folder named Amazon MP3. They should also be available in your iTunes music library. If not you can add them with the Add to Library command. Just navigate to the folder with the songs. If the songs did not download then check here. Amazon Help

You could always throw in a cheap USB2 card if you have a spare pci slot and then go with the cheaper USB drive.

Frys has the same drive for $130 (limit one per customer) with free shipping, but other than that, I haven't seen a better deal. Frys.com

Using that drive right now on my Intel iMac via firewire 400 with no problems. There is no power switch on the drive. It goes into a stand-by/sleep mode when you power off your Mac or otherwise terminate the interface connection, drawing about 5 watts of power.

To further clarify my post above, if you run on battery power and it only discharges to 95% or above, then you plug it back in, the battery won't charge. I don't know if this is the problem you are seeing but I have observed this behavior on my 2.4 MBP. I believe Apple has a document on this.

Let the battery drop below 90% charge. The battery won't charge if it is above 95%. I believe this is a safety feature to prevent constant charging of the battery.

FU to PC Warranty Question - 13 years ago

A follow up to this thread: macresource.com I looked through the files on the computer and found a hardware reference which describes in great detail how to open the case and upgrade or replace just about everything, including the processor and mother board. Everything but the power supply. Nowhere in the documentation does it say anything about voiding the warranty, so I guess I'm good to go

I don't know all the details of your situation, but I have a friend who re-married a rich doctor. Her then fourteen year old daughter got sucked into having her affection bought buy her step-dad. It didn't last very long. Turns out she hated the guy, but the allure of the new laptop, and big screen TV in her room was stronger than her dislike... to a point. Hang in there, she'll come back.

I just received the 1 TB version of this drive from Seagate as a warranty replacement for a 6 month old defective FreeAgent Pro drive. Brand new, not refurbished.
