Don't the original graphite Base Stations have one of those cards in them? It seems it would make more sense to just get one of those from ebay and pull the card out of that. Working graphite Base Station are almost free on ebay. Even the snow Base Stations seem to be going for about $25 right now. outcastby outcast - Tips and Deals

Comrades! What are your gripes? We should all know that we can trust Mother America. On an aside, I must give credit where credit is due. Much as I hate having to deal with Qwest for my local phone service, I do thank them for refusing to turn over the requested information to the NSA. Of course this really might just be because the NSA phoned Qwest's customer service department toby outcast - Tips and Deals

As I understand it, migrating birds are considered one of the possible vectors for the spread of an avian bird pandemic as the infected wild animals can come into contact with other birds like turkeys, chicken, ducks, etc and spread the disease into areas that might otherwise be protected via controlled ground movement of people and resources. Don't forget that the primary situations where the vby outcast - Tips and Deals
Not to sound too paranoid, but we have done a bit to prepare for natural disaster whether it comes from land, the sea or from the air. We live on the Oregon Coast and have put away supplies to last us about a week should we require it primarily due to earthquake or tsunami damage. We already grow a little bit of our own food and hope to increase that amount more this spring. The whole avianby outcast - Tips and Deals
Rats! How did I miss that auction? That thing would be way cooler for picking up chicks then that jet powered VW. Plus I could deal with that pesky tourist helicopter that really ruins my sunny days as it takes off and returns every five dam minutes... outcastby outcast - Tips and Deals

Gasoline is a commodity not an unalienable right. I believe that Carm has it right. Gasoline companies and independent dealers can charge whatever the market will bear so areas of greater concentrations of wealth are most likely going to see higher prices. It would be interesting to overlay a map of average household income over that gas map. outcastby outcast - Tips and Deals
A bit late to the party here, but add my vote to the "just let it end" side. I'm pretty old school when it come to anything Star Trek and I never really got into anything post TOS besides STNG (although I was always hoping that someone would eject "Counselor Cleavage" out an airlock.) I lost interest rather quickly in Voyager (didn't that thing have landing gear or is thby outcast - Tips and Deals
I figure I'll chime in on this one a well! The first one looks like knotweed to me as well. I hope I'm wrong as that stuff is just as scary as the description that voodoopenguin posted. We are dealing with that plant here in our local watershed, and so far the best way that has been found to destroy that stuff is with pre-measured individual shots of Round-Up injected directly into the rhizomby outcast - Tips and Deals

Much as I hate to say it, punk is dead. I actually feel sorry for those kids I see now-a-days sporting their little Mohawks and leather jackets. It doesn't mean anything any more-it's just a uniform like any other culturally encoded outfit. If they were truly rebellious they'd have the guts to create a whole new look for shock purposes rather then fall back on a safe and established outfitby outcast - Tips and Deals

Perhaps I'm just getting too bitter in my old age, but I seem to miss the humor in those three vids. When did basic depictions of such simple human pain and suffering become humorous? outcastby outcast - Tips and Deals
Isn't this sort of electronic backwards engineering illegal in this modern age due to the anti-piracy laws or some such Draconian legislature? Didn't Apple just smack someone down about two weeks ago for doing the same sort of hack with OS X and a Widows box? I actually listen to a fair amount of audiobooks. I do a lot of work out in the field by myself and I find audiobooks nice to listen to when I'm doing boreing work like prepping a site. Currently I'm listening to 1776 by Dave McCullough. Now if only my iPod would stop resetting itself at night when it's on the dock, I'd be a happy camper. outcastby outcast - Tips and Deals
Okay, let me preface this by saying I was a geek long before the term became acceptable, and I think I may understand the lust that may drive some of these people, but c'mon folks if you're going to post your picture on the internets at least look at them first! Sorry for your loss PeterB. We just had to put or L.C. down just the night before so I think I can understand a bit of the loss you are feeling now. Oddly enough Clio looks a lot like L.C. did, enough in fact that it was a bit of a shock when I first saw the pictures. Some may say that black cats are bad luck, but I've always liked them. Perhaps it's just bad luck for the cat? outcastby outcast - Tips and Deals
