Scientific-Atlanta Explorer 8300HD. I think it has a 160G HD. I hope I did it right, I went the guide and scrolled over to the movie hit select and it said something about "do you want to record this show" and I hit Select and it turned red and had record beside it. We've never had a cable box or a DVR.

I tried "Uncle Jesse Crystal Skull" and that didn't work to well. I kept thinking Jesse was someones Uncle. Actually it comes on after House tonight on AMC, I just saw it advertised. I'm going to try to DVR it. Just got the DVR today so I'll see how it goes. The Crystal Skull part kept taking me to Stargate links, I remember that episode it was good one. Thanks

I think I figured it out. I think it's House II: The Second Story. Someone in a google search I did said it was an unrelated sequel to "House".

There was a crystal skull, a Jesse, a Gramps, a strange looking dog character and some other western living-dead guy trying to take back the crystal skull. Uncle Jesse's grandson or someone inherited a house. I think it came out in the mid to late 80's. Uncle Jesse was like living-dead and falling apart. I guess someone out there has those black boxes like they used to sell claiming they were for testing purposes only. I know a guy that bought one out of NY and when the company got shutdown they still had records of all sells. He wound up settling for something like $3K. He had been getting all the free cable stuff for several years but only paying for Basic service. It's not worth

I had no idea I was going to get them until I bought a 50" Sony LCD Projection and let it scan for channels. It found like 30 Digital Cable channels. I still have a large selection of OTA Major Network channels but I'm not sure I can do without Discovery HD. Don't watch anything on Discovery HD if you don't want to get hooked.

I woke this morning and bam they were history. They killed everything but major networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. No more freebies like TNT-HD, Discovery, etc. Oh well they nice while they lasted. Looks like it's time for a Set Top Box or a Cable-Card.
