bought one recently. Post coming about it soon. Very viable, and all bolts will get a free battery replacement. I still have two Nissan LEAFs. Insurance is $100/month. Charging is 100% free - I use public DCFCs. Bolt is EOL though - new chevy EVs like the equinox coming next year for the same $$. Might best wait. That said, it's a great car and I love it.

I have the same SSD and machine, so I am very interested in this. I will probably upgrade to Monterey sometime this year f on Mojave. I recently installed Monterey on the original SSD so I can send it back for AppleCare. Had no issues but I don’t know what the OWC drive will do.
