I've been doing 55 miles each way for about 4 years. I'm a truck driver so the driving doesn't bother me but the extra time does add up. My wife drives in the opposite direction but only about 8 countryside miles. She is quite glad I am the one doing the miles and she would never move. I make about 40% more because of the drive than I would working nearby. And I drive an '03 Jetta Diesel so

650 except now it has dropped with winter fuel to 600. Jetta Diesel which at highway speeds (55 - 70) gets 48+ mpg with 4 occupants. Gets much less at 110 mph. Everyone should drive a Diesel and we wouldn't need to import oil.

I would make sure it has the USB speakers. We run four Cubes + one G5 2.3 dual in our computer room for the quiet. We live with the G5... My kids and their friends love the Cubes. We have two Minis which are just sitting around folding@home. The Minis aren't cool.

Yup, it was great when bumpers actually bumped. Cheaper for the consumer overall because the consumer saved more on insurance than what he paid for the better bumper. But Detroit squeaked loudly and Congress screwed us again.

I hope it is fixed in Leopard. Using Safari 3.0.4 and 10.4.11 I am using 685 MBs of RAM out of 4 GBs on a G5 2.3 machine. I don't recall what my uptime is.
