I've been using DL for almost two years now. We have so many videos it's hard to keep track of some times so I cary a printed list with me when I'm out shopping so that I don't accidentally buy something I already own. My 14 yo son is the librarian and very much enjoys being in charge of inputing the data.

Mine has a 575 motherboard with a 40MHz full 040, (pulled from an 840AV) 68MB of RAM, 1MB of VRAM (it's hacked for 640x480) and a 1.2 gig 7200rpm HD + an LC ethernet card. It is sparkling clean as the day it was new without a trace of yellowing or screen burn in. Of course I have the stock motherboard I could always put back in for some purist...

In the root of the OS X boot drive, go to the Library>Receipts folder and delete any iTunes pkg file there except the iTunesX.pkg and iTunesPhoneDriver.pkg files. Looks like after the iTunes update there are some old packages there that Disk Utility won't ignore for some reason.

A belt sander, preferably 3x21, with a 50 r 80 grit belt will do the trick quickly and provide a smooth finished surface that has plenty of bight for the adhesive. If you have not yet bought your linoleum yet I suggest you have a look at "Marmoleum" a fantastic and environmentally friendly product. I did my moms half basement with it and it is very nice!

I have a 266 with 384MB/40gig running X 3.9 quite happily crunching away on F@H protiens and serving up iTunes quite nicely.

IIRC the 12" 700 was the last iBook that had only 16MB of VRAM so no support for Quartz Extreme.

Almost 9000 new messages in the two weeks I've been vacating! Last week was great as we had a glorious SUNNY week in San Fransisco! It was lots of fun doing all the tourist stuff with the kids (17,14 & 13) now that they are old enough to enjoy it. Working till 8:00 P.M. tonight to get that one last planeload of packages off for X-mas! Then I'm off for the next two weeks for vacation which will include a 4-5 day trip up to San Francisco with the kids. So what that means is, that I will be spending the day today preparing a list of work (and making sure that all the necesary parts/supplies/equipment are here) for my vacation coverage
