I have a 17” iLamp and a 2006 24” that are both used as digital picture frames, they both get lots of comments and complements from visitors to my home. Next time I have a free day to goof around I’m setting up one of my cubes with an ACD for the same duty.

I use Printer Pro for printing to my old Brother laser printer that is not AirPrint capable. Works great even with older iOS devices.

Seriously who thought it was a good idea to replace the coverflow style of searching open tabs with a grid full of thumbnails. This has got to be one of the dumbest things ever!!! I tend to have lots of tabs open at any given time… the grid of thumbnails wouldn’t be so bad if the newest content was shown on top of the page instead of the bottom. If I can’t get this functionality back

My 10yo Whirlpools are both making noise. The washer needs a transmission, about $250, but seems to be readily available. The dryer just needs some new rollers. An easy fix. I have my eye on a new pair from Electrolux that should be both quieter AND more energy efficient, but need to save up a few more months before I can order them.

The problem I have with the flat fold packaging is that the metal nose piece inevitably cracks and breaks when I go to fit them tightly around the bridge of my nose.
