I went frrom a 2 year old Actiontec to the Quantum Gateway. I was mostly interested in the GigE wired but it did double the wireless on an '11 MBA (not ac).It was on sale for $100 for awhile.

I still need a dedicated GPS, it stays in the car and I don't worry about it. I can make and take calls without interruption of directions. I have tried both, using an iP5, iP6+, and a S4. I really don't want to clip my phone into a dash mount 25+ times a day, and fumble with it every time I need to call.

Do it, nothing beats a dedicated GPS. Bigger screen, easier to enter addresses, doesn't tie up your phone, less of a worry about theft, no data use...

My 1st computer before i found a 512ke for a dollar in a thrift shop... It has built in basic, but their own version. You will need a cassette recorder and the cable to save anything. Does it have a modulator, PS, and the manuals? I think there is still an active user base, sort of...

I sometimes have the same problem with my ice maker and also use a hairdryer. Did you puncture a coolant line or a water line? If coolant it's all dead.

I have been using a Galaxy S4 for work for around 6 months. I have been a somewhat dissatisfied iOS user of late. My work duties require short emails a few times a day mostly with picture attachments. I had a lot of problems with emails getting stuck in "sending" both with and without attachments. These emails are important, they may result in up to a dozen people being put in standby.

I have been a customer for seven years and never noticed how bad it sounds compared to CD, at least in my car. Anyone have any different experience? Maybe I need to clean my antenna... As a motorcyclist who has been spending more time in a car than I ever have, I have to agree, there are less obnoxiously loud car audio systems. And, loud pipes suck.

Pristine shape 2.3Ghz i5, 4GB, 320GB. A friend's daughter brought it to BestBuy, they offered her $160 in trade. Wow. Anyway, I did a nuke and pave and installed Yosemite, runs pretty well. I would guess it could use some more ram.

I actually miss the Apple section of CompUSA. I saw my 1st Cube, Mini, and 30" display while making the rounds looking for open box deals. I also saw James Woods complaining that his PB G4 couldn't drive the 30" display. And you are right, nothing to get me into the Apple store these days...
