In the 1960s and 1970s Honda shipped motorcycles in wooden crates from Japan. The wood was beautiful Japanese wood, hard to obtain over here it was always said. Way too many pallets are made out of wood soaked in creosote here in the Midwest.

This is where we are at. On social media typically the top feed items are teenagers complaining about parents taking the doors off their bedrooms meanwhile here there are judgements about humanity based on youtube vids.

Musk is awesome. Anything that strikes fear into the snowflakes is a positive development. I have a friend who was nearly bald in the 1990s. Now, with chemicals and other strategies, he has almost a full head of hair.

Meanwhile the freebee Snapper two-stroke mower I got last Spring fires up in pouring rain, shakes it off, then gets down to a serious grass knifing. I love the smell of Castrol R in the morning.

When one orders a gourmet hot dog at a restaurant it comes very large and plump. Where does one obtain these larger dogs to make at home? The usual grocery stores have nothing like this ... they are the smaller "wieners".

I went outside and looked at our old Samsung Split units. Model UM26B1C2 we have two of them, one on each side of the house. Looks like the outside units were good for 12,500 BTU/h. Has anyone priced these units or had them installed in the last decade? What did it cost? Sounds like the Mitsubishi system has good reviews. Not sure I'd do Samsung again.

We're actually set up for mini splits on both sides of this house. We did it in 2005 or so but both mini split units are now toast. The house is set up with electricity, plumbing and etc for them but because they didn't seem to last very long for the price (Samsung) I'm not crazy about updating them. It cost a fortune and they did not last.
