Basic Dodger fan - also watch/root for Red Sox, Mariners, MN Twins. (Twins are the losers) I get Comcast's MLBaseball Pkg. so I can watch almost any team on any day that they are playing. The Giants are our enemies!!!! LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals

My last purchased VCR/DVD player/recorder was a PYE PV90VG. Converted many VHS tapes to DVD with it. Very dependable unit with lots of flexibility/options for burning to DVD. Plays many kinds of DVD's and CD's. Still own it. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
This doesn't address your current question. But, in your past question/post I mentioned my Sennheiser RS 120. I have a Comcast cablebox and the wireless headphone connects directly to that. So when I mute the TV so my wife doesn't have to listen to it, the headphones function fine with volume adjustment on the headphones. My last Radio Shack wireless headphones worked the same way. I've used the Sennheiser RS 120 for a year now. Plugs into 120v, and it recharges by simply setting the headphones on the base unit's 2 metal holders. I've moved 100 feet from the TV and still get good audio. With 10,000+ reviews on Amazon, you'll find any questions you might have at Amazon. Works great for me. However, having the base unit far away from the TV (for charging) could be prby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I got zip back from buying Kindle books-never bought any. But my daughter, a voracious reader, did get $294. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I did the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit about 11 months ago. Seems to work well, but be sure you do a thorough job of applying the final UV Blocking Clear coat. It's hard to tell if you've applied it completely to all the lens covering. It will show later if you missed any spots. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
TextWrangler is free, and probably works under El Capitan - although I don't have El Capitan to test it. What you want to do is under Text/Change Case. I would guess there's a lot of ways to do this. LyleH And this discusses compatibility with different OSX versions.by LyleH - Tips and Deals
Very nice pics DP - On the first pic of the heron the pile of debris across the water looked to me like an ocelot (or another cat-like animal) walking from right to left........ LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Two years ago my wife and I moved from a 5-bedroom home and a large garage and yard (100 x 200) that we had lived in for 42 years to an independent-living retirement center with very limited storage and 2 bedrooms (one very small). Quite a challenge to get rid of everything - didn't sell much, but gave lots to my neighbors and Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, etc. Our adult kids helped get ridby LyleH - Tips and Deals
In case you haven't seen this, which I assume the "Subject Line" is correct: A friend of mine had his iPhone 5s bricked yesterday. I'm sure there's more current info available online. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals
I found one way to not get blocked when you view web pages in Safari with your Ad Blocker active is to immediately click on Reader as soon as the web page displays. I haven't done thorough testing, but it does seem to work on some sites - including Wired. And, of course all you can read is the article, but maybe that's all you want to read anyway. ??? Quotespace-time QuoteFilliam H. Muffman ScumCrap is pretty tedious with the browser Sign In. I have the browser save my password, I check the box to "Keep me signed in," and it still takes 2 or 3 pages to get to my actual inbox because they can't help themselves splashing video and javascript in my face if it's been over 4 hours since I last checked my email. you use COMCAST for emailby LyleH - Tips and Deals
Quotedavemchine Once in awhile I need to markup a photo similar to how I've marked this one. The only easy way I know to do it is in email while forwarding the photo. I could do it in graphicconverter but that is a little more involved. How would you do this? BTW, if anyone knows where I can buy a 15" towel rack please let me know. I'm over 80, and the plethora of free and $1 apps for the iPad (especially games, but so many possible apps to try out) is so much easier on the pocketbook. And if you use the apps "AppShopper" or "Appsgonefree" (and other deal places) there are lots of good deals out there. And the iPad is definitely mind-stimulating in many ways. It was about the same size as the window. Ideally, use a screen material that's almost invisible when you look out of the window. Once I did that, I never found any dead birds below the window. I did the full swap for $299 thru Apple with my iPad 4 when I broke my screen. According to the serial numbers, both iPad 4's were new. One thing to consider, if she's had the iPad for quite awhile is that she would end up with a new battery, too. Tough call to make. LyleHby LyleH - Tips and Deals

QuotergG It is so cheap/quick now to have prints done at Costco that I never print on photo paper at home anymore. Ink is just too expensive and I always wound up having to print several to get one good one. I agree, and usually go to Rite Aid where I can print them out immediately (cheaper) or let them print them out with very little delay. Now if I could just remember to take my USB drive ouby LyleH - Tips and Deals
