Like my Dell 24". For $1,175.30 I got the 2405FPW, a Dimension 9150 w/Pentium D 830 Dual Core 3Ghz. 1 gig ram. Radeon X300 w/128mb. 1 DVD-Rom Drive & 1 DVD-RW Drive.

G4 iBook. Like it for deck surfing too. Everyone in my family has their own computer. This is the extra one. Wife has G5 iMac 20". Daughter Dual Gig G4. Son Dual Core Dell 9150. Me lowly 1.6 G5 PM.

Haven't been to any Apple Stores in the Denver area yet. Not very close to work or home. My downfall would be an Apple Store & Fry's next to each other. The opened up an Apple Store near the Fry's in Manhattan Beach, just before I moved out of that area.

I bought a 20" iMac not too long ago for my wife. No regrets here. I would not be thrilled about purchasing a 1st gen machine.

Yes, I did > get "Welcome to Denven. Now go back!" from a friend. So far, people have been very nice to me, even those who know I'm from California. I can see why people don't like some of the people from California. The funky "laid back" beach community that I grew up in, is starting to be taken over by arrogant people with attitude. This is why I was glad to move.

I left the south bay section of SO CAL after living there for 49 years. No regrets. Life was getting too crowded, too hectic & with too many rude people. Not to mention the fact that it could take over 2 1/2 hours or more to get out of the LA Basin.

The way that many of the cable systems are set up, the minute you add broadband to basic service, you get many channels that you aren't supposed to get.
