I wish YouTube had been around when I was in college. I could have made a million by posting my observations of the MJ users (or, at the very least, by threatening to do so). Seriously, though; I'm not a fan of legalizing recreational use of any additional substances, whether or not they have medical indications. I've seen too much misery come from the behavioral aberrations they can induce.

I was very irritated when my PowerMac 8600 was made obsolete. The darn thing keeps on going, though - they really knew how to make 'em! With a 1GHz G4 upgrade and using Classilla for web browsing, it's almost not a pain in the behind to use.

My wife's homemade soup tastes better reheated on the stove. It contains more solids than store-bought soup, so just like meat and boiled vegetables tend to do better with conduction heating rather than microwaving, so does her soup. I'll defrost it in the microwave until room temp, though, to save myself an eternity watching a block of iced soup slowly melt on the stove.

The Bose noise cancellation system is indeed outstanding. I prefer the overall sound of the Sennheiser PXC450 (same price new, picked up for $113 used-it's been around for years), but there's no doubt the Bose noise cancellation is far superior.
