As a former Leodensian, I occasionally listen to BBC Leeds using the unofficial BBC radio widget: Unofficial BBC Radio Widget You have to click on the "i" button to change the default from Radio 1 to a regional broadcast.

Undoubtedly the reception would be better mounted higher and out of the way of wiring/gutters/roof etc, but I'm unable to put the antenna outside because of overhanging trees. Antennas specifically labelled for attic mounting were not successful at pulling in signals from ABC.

Any chance of aluminum household wiring? There could be problems using devices such as GFCI or outlets that were not designed to accept such wiring.

This, combined with an amplifier, is what it takes to get ABC at our house in upstate SC. It takes up the entire width of the attic, and the signal still drops out. Still, we get 16 channels overall, compared with zero with an indoor antenna in our current abode.

I wish YouTube had been around when I was in college. I could have made a million by posting my observations of the MJ users (or, at the very least, by threatening to do so). Seriously, though; I'm not a fan of legalizing recreational use of any additional substances, whether or not they have medical indications. I've seen too much misery come from the behavioral aberrations they can induce.

I was very irritated when my PowerMac 8600 was made obsolete. The darn thing keeps on going, though - they really knew how to make 'em! With a 1GHz G4 upgrade and using Classilla for web browsing, it's almost not a pain in the behind to use.
