Haven't seen any dual layer (DVD-R) hub printables but Meritline does carry the Playo double layer (DVD+R) hub printable disks.

There was never a size limitation on importing to iMovie. It would however begin a new clip every 2 GB or so but that did not cause any difficulties.

As long as the sync is set to go in the right direction, neither folder should be a problem. Just keep a recent backup of your desktop (just in case).

No, they don't. You usually get whatever software was included when the computer was new. When a new OS version is released, they may slip in an update disk but not updates for iLife or iWork.

Have you disconnected all other FW peripherals from the G4? And is the G4 at least an AGP model (PCI graphics G4 cannot use TDM)?

If an enclosure will handle a 250 GB drive, it'll handle the largest drive sold - a 1 TB one.

Quick and dirty solution - format the MB and restore it from its Install disk. Don't use Migration Assistant; transfer only those apps and data files she absolutely needs. If it still has problems shutting down and restarting, then you have a hardware problem. But the chances are good that it's a software problem brought over from the PB.
