Looking for a macro lens for my SX-40. I don't know lenses and I see offers all over but no idea if they are junk or not. I don't need a pro lens but I don't want the eBay scam crap either. Ideally Amazon would be the source as I have a pile of points to use. Thanks.by Jack D. - Tips and Deals
I had a similar reaction when offered my first jelly omelet (just a tbsp of your favorite jelly in a plain omelet). Sounded real weird but pretty darn tasty. I'd try it.....once anyway.by Jack D. - Tips and Deals

I just spent 90+ minutes on the phone with a friend who has been using both Windows (since 3.1) and Macs (since Apple IIe) FOREVAH! and still doesn't know the difference between a browser and a bagel! I used to support her on a regular basis but it just got too stressful because it was always the same kind of problems and nothing sunk in when I explained it. I was driving a 28' box truck on Storrow Drive in Boston when I heard a thump. It took a few seconds before I realized I tagged one of the low height signs just before the bridge. It was 7:30 in the AM and traffic was solid but my passenger got out and walked behind the truck waving his way through oncoming traffic so we could back up to the previous exit. @#$%&-A I never want to go through thatby Jack D. - Tips and Deals

When I had my big screen shop in the 90's we were a Hanes distributor and sold tons of Hanes Beefy T's. Today I sell mostly Gildan and we offer two shirt weights in 100% cotton - 5.3 ox and 6 oz. The majority of my customers choose the lighter weight shirt. My personal preference is the Comfort Colors preshrunk 100% cotton 6.1oz ring spun garment dyed T-shirt. I run both Mac and Windows every day. All the BS that we used to complain about Windows is now in the Mac OS and it seems to me at least that Windows has somewhat mellowed and become more what I would like the Mac to be. I really despise the way Apple tells me what I need and modifies it's hardware and software to that effect. This is gonna be a big ol suck no matter how you handle it. These type of people tend to get offended easily and if you tell her like it is I think she's going to take it personally and "you're a dick!". If you get ugly with her "you're still a dick". I just last week put a brand new SB6141 on line with Comcast. They gave me the EOL story and offered to rent me theirs. I told them it's on their approved list and we're hooking it up. Then they asked me if it was new AND where I bought it! I countered with how is it any business of CC where I bought my modem? I don't know what make fridge I have (without getting my butt off the couch) but it's about 4 years old. I have never replaced the filter and the light has never come on saying to do so.
