Ok I have a Mac Mini, I installed Leopard and for the life of me I can't find my original Tiger install DVD with the Apple Hardware Test partition on it. I'm having problems with my HD now and I think it needs to be replaced. For the past day or so I have gotten several freezes or terminal beachballs which have ended in kernel panics. I have a cheapo 4 port unpowered hub and I've never had a problem. I have my keyboard mouse and printer plugged in, and use the 4th port for digital cameras, iPods, Disk on Keys and other assorted stuff with no problems to report.

Why? What can play AVI (presumably DIVX) but not MP4??? And avi is basically meaningless it can be one out of any number of codecs... But I've had luck with FFMPEGX

Crapola.... I got suckered into buying one because of the low price.... It never seemed to feed the paper particularly well. The ink cartridges cost more than the printer (and there are no real generics out there, at least back when I had one) And the ink dries out VERY fast if you don't print a lot, and all efforts to resurect the cartridges were unsuccessful....

Resetting the PMU can sometimes help too. I have had this problem on my Mini several times and it has always brought FW back from the dead....

There is another way. I'm not sure exactly how to set it up (at the vendors end) but they can create an "add to cart" link which gives even NON paypal members the option to pay with a credit card. A non profit I used to work for also did this with donations, the person clicks on the link and has the choice to sign in to paypal or just pay with a CC.

Rice actually spoils quite quickly if left out, it has something to do with the moisture...I wouldn't eat it after a few hours let alone 2 days Most stuff can be left out for awhile until it really goes bad.......
