I like using Firefox for a few reasons. Not the least of which is that I am on a PC at work, and I like being able to use the same browser at home and in the office. Just one little way to make life simpler. Plus using the brushed metal theme makes it appear that I am on a Mac when browsing at work. And oh yes, I love Adblock.by $tevie - Tips and Deals

I agree that the buyer seems rude, arrogant, smug and a bully. I don't know about that little girl crack, but oh well. However, I still agree with Greg about the wording. I think the lesson here is to not editorialize or speculate in the Return Policy. In the auction description, okay I guess, but you should never have stated that the item needed a new logic board in the Return Policy. If forby $tevie - Tips and Deals

I had to give up my preferred way to read the forum, threaded view, ages ago due to the loooooooooong stickies. It's nice that people want to get together and all that, but I agree that a third forum, concentrating on gatherings and other such announcements, might be a way around a big potential irritant. My point was that the logic board information should not have been in the Return Policy. In my mind, the information about replacing the board has been inextricably linked to the return policy. I hate to say it, but that language in the middle certainly makes it sound like replacing the logic board will make it work again. I don't think it should have been included in the return policy. I just went and read an article about this so I would be up to speed. Why didn't he try to break the holding-your-breath record before he was all wasted from being underwater? I guess he thought this way was more dramatic. I think a stunt that lasts more than an hour or two is just totally self-indulgent and not at all "entertaining". Just curious, do you expect a refund from the theatre if you don't like a movie? I don't see how Blockbuster can offer refunds for "bad" movies. It's so subjective. And then you run the risk of everyone coming in and claiming they hated some movie they rented, just to see if they could get a refund. I agree with chas_m to a certain extent.
