I'm looking forward to hearing them if they are remastered sessions but it will never rival the feeling I got peeling off the Yesterday and Today cover to find this:

I REALLY want remastered CDs (I'm sure the remastering of the CD catalog will be part of- and most likely, precede- the catalog's release on t ITMS)- especially both the stereo AND MONO versions on the same CD. (This is especially important for Peppers and Revolver).
My mono vinyl of Peppers is just about worn to the nub. (For those unaware- suffice to say that the mono mix of Peppers was done in the equivalent of 3 weeks, whereas the stereo was done in 3 days.)

and after that they STILL butchered the releases in the USA until after Revolver - as they had to catch up with the Hey Jude release to bring forth it and Paperback Writer, etc.
Never really understood the need to do that (and such a crappy L/R mastering job) on all those recordings. |
