Back in the mortgage biz in the 1980's, one of my lender's wouldn't let their workerbees obtain loans through their own company, so they referred their workerbees to me to place w/ other lenders. One of their VP's bought a new home, and his broker was a gal named....

I was just out looking for a new printer and took the time to compared the MBP 13", which I just bought, to the same size retina screen side-by-side. In my opinion the Retina screen is brighter, but not outstanding enough to justify the extra cost. Just my opinion, because it does look sharp.

If you bought it then

Man, the screen on this new one feels huge! (And very smooth.)

Congratulations. We have one here too. Incredible system in every way!

Whenever I'm at the store looking at the Retina displays I don't see any difference. Is it something you switch on?

You have to look, v63.

But beware--once you do, you may end up joining the bleating Internet chorus complaining that Apple's 163 ppi iPad mini has a "crappy screen."

Funny because the iPad Mini screen looks just fine to me. For what 95% of the people will do with it, they'll be more than happy with it.
